Vi er for mange mennesker til at kloden kan bære det, men for få til at vedligeholde det velfærdssamfund, vi har. Vi bør føde færre børn for klimaets skyld, men flere for Danmark. Livmoderen er blevet genstand for en nationalistisk politisk kampagne i Danmark. Teknologi møder kroppens kødelighed i en gigantisk 3D animeret livmoder, når Sydhavn Teater undersøger, hvem der har magten.
PETROLEUM is about oil and the beauty and horror that comes with the material. In the work, we meet a female scientist who is driven by a desire to save the world. She wants to extract oil from her own body, embodying a psychological portrait of how we are shaped by oil. Choreographer and dancer Hilde I. Sandvold performs her own choreography: here she goes from substance to human.

We meet and talk about art in an informal way. With SOUP SHARINGS we want to share knowledge and processes as well as create the framework for the physical meeting across different art forms.
I denne workshop fokuserer vi på hvert "øjeblik" som en "once in a lifetime-oplevelse" – hvor det at blive forbløffet og at skælve vil vise sig at være en stor følelse – der, hvor dansen vil opstå. Dans er noget i retning af at svømme – du vil aldrig kunne svømme, medmindre du hopper i vandet.
In this workshop, we focus on each “time” as a " once in a lifetime experience" - being awed, shivering will turn out to be a great feeling - where dance will happen. Dance is something like swimming - you will never be able to swim as long as you don’t jump into the water.
Denne workshop inviterer til en kropslig vandring, en kontemplativ drift, for at sanse og observere disse forskellige aspekter i lossepladsområderne ved Sydhavnstippen, mens vi forudser dets udviklingsfortællinger og lytter til dets underjordiske ønsker.
This workshop invites a somatic walk, a contemplative drift, for sensing and observing these different aspects on the landfill areas of Sydhavnstippen prefiguring its narratives of development and listening to its underground desires.

I pausen mellem to halvlege forvilder de sig ud på fodboldbanen. Et kort øjeblik hænger de udspændt i handlingsforløbets midte, men falder så ved siden af. Her bevæger de sig på kanten af det forståelige, det produktive og af fællesskabet. Hvad sker der lige før og lige efter, det hele sker? Hvilken rolle spiller pausen i hele slagets gang? Hvem er de: Dem der lever i pausen?
During half time, they get lost on the football pitch. For a brief moment they hang stretched out in the middle of the act, but then they fall to one side. Here they move on the edge of the understandable, of the productive and of the community. What happens just before and just after it all happens? What role does the break play in the entire course of the battle? Who are they: Those who live in the break?

Sydhavn brænder er en forestilling om og med en gruppe lokale borgere, som alle brænder for en bedre verden. De har kæmpet mange kampe: nogle af dem har de vundet, nogle har de tabt, mens de stadig kæmper for andre. I Sydhavn brænder synger og danser de for dem selv og for en bedre verden.
The audience success is back!
Sydhavn brænder is a performance about and with a group of local citizens who are all passionate about a better world. They have fought many battles: some of them they have won, some they have lost, while they are still fighting for others. In Sydhavn brænder, they sing and dance for themselves and for a better world.
Sommerbio vender tilbage d. 7. september kl 16:30-20:30 på Græsplænen ved Spontinisvej 21. Udover de to børnefilm vil der i løbet af dagen også være en danseperformance kaldet REGNBUEN - et univers af uventede kontraster og sanseindtryk, hvor vi undersøger vores indre regnbuers uendelige nuancer...

With the classroom as a battle zone - Du er en dag i morgen is a spatial audio game, with the classroom as a screaming starting point. It is a memoir in the past and present, a personal narrative that explores the social dynamics of the school and the institutional influence on body and soul.
In City Layers we invite the audience to join us on a walk through past and present layers of Nye Sydhavn. Guided by the performer, who will act as a conduit, as a medium, as a host for the space and its histories, we will explore the newly built apartment complexes and the building sites and will convene with ghosts of the site. What is hiding underneath? What is erased?
