Det er med glæde, at Sydhavn Teater for femte år i træk kan præsentere det populære pop-up format LIVE VED… Her fejrer vi livekunsten som mødested i Sydhavn.
I år indtager vi Teglholmen med LIVE VED… TEGLHOLMEN, hvor nogle af de bedste musik- og performancekunstnere indtager området omkring Den Grønne Kile.
TORSDAG DEN 13. AUGUST kl. 16.30 — 17.30 præsenterer vi HUNGRY EYES
Det tværæstetiske scenekunstgruppe HUNGRY EYES gæster LIVE VED... med forestillingen Immanuel, Immanuel! En rytmisk opsang — til os selv og til jer! Et korværk næsten uden sang. Et håbefuldt, essayistisk og kropsligt kor, hvor sprog, rytme og koreografi væves sammen i tværæstetiske partiturer.
Forestillingen undersøger korets æstetik, musikalitet, dramaturgi og kollektive kraft. HUNGRY EYES henter inspiration fra Bertolt Brecht og Immanuel Kant, fra personlige dagbogsnotater og fra kor-koncertens musikalske logik. Som en modstand mod handlingslammelse bruger de korets form til at sende nyt blod ud i hænder, sind og hjerter.
Sydhavn Teater is delighted to present the popular pop-up format LIVE VED… for the fifth consecutive year. Through this series, we celebrate live performance as a place of connection and community in Sydhavn.
This year, we are once again taking over Teglholmen with LIVE VED… TEGLHOLMEN, where some of the most exciting music and performance artists will transform the area around Den Grønne Kile.
ON THURSDAY, AUGUST 13, 4:30–5:30 PM we'll present HUNGRY EYES
The interdisciplinary performance collective HUNGRY EYES joins LIVE VED… with Immanuel, Immanuel! — a rhythmic call to arms for ourselves and for you. A choral work almost without song. A hopeful, essayistic and embodied chorus where language, rhythm and choreography are woven together into interdisciplinary scores.
The performance explores the aesthetics, musicality, dramaturgy and collective power of the chorus. Drawing inspiration from Bertolt Brecht and Immanuel Kant, from personal diary entries and the musical logic of the choral concert, HUNGRY EYES uses the form of the chorus as a resistance to paralysis and inaction—sending fresh blood flowing through hands, minds and hearts.
